About me… well, my name is Gustavo, and…
Wait a second. I think my biography is not really very interesting… maybe I can use the space to tell you a few more things about this website and my motivation to update it.
This blog is not a pack of tutorials. It is simply a space where I share my experience while learning new things.
Most of the topics I am going to write about are topics that revolve around computing. Among those topics: Linux, free software and programming.
I’m not an expert in those topics, but I’m interested in writing while I’m learning so I don’t forget what I’m doing. Especially so I don’t forget what I learn because of lack of practice.
Maybe all this can be of help to people who encounter similar problems in their day to day life.
Anyway, it really doesn’t matter how you came to the blog. Maybe you are looking to learn something for a new job. Maybe you’re interested in finding a hobby to occupy your spare time.
Or it could be any other reason, it doesn’t matter.
Whay is really important is the inspiring core of this blog: take the initiative, and start doing.
I don’t always know the topics well when I start writing, but that alone is an incentive to do more research.
That is very important, to start doing even if we are not sure of success. Once we start working, things become easier and everything starts to make sense.
That’s all about me. Maybe this is not the most compeling “about me” page, but I hope it gives you a good idea about what you can find in here if you decide to join me.
I’d really like to hear your ideas, criticisms or comments you have about these little notes I’m writing. I may not respond immediately, but I read everything that comes in through this contact form.
Sharing our impressions is a great way to keep learning, and once again, that’s the idea that connects us.
